Researcher, Klaudia Kotlarz, at Dublin City University is conducting a research project titled “A Qualitative Study Exploring the Lived Experiences of Adults Diagnosed with Avoidant/Restrictive Food Intake Disorder (ARFID)” under the supervision of Dr. Ciara Mahon, Assistant Professor at the School of Psychology in DCU.
The participants will be asked to complete a 1 hour interview on Zoom. Participation is entirely voluntary, confidential and designed with sensitivity to the needs of the individuals who have lived with ARFID. The purpose of the study is to contribute to a better understanding of adult experiences of living with a diagnosis of ARFID, with the hope that the findings may support future improvements in care and support services.
The study has received ethical approval from the DCU Psychology Ethics Committee (Approval code: DCUPEC_2025_113).
