The helpline is open for two hours each day and is delivered by a team of trained volunteers. It offers a non-judgemental and confidential support and information service. Callers can access names of local health professionals, details of all Bodywhys support services and other voluntary organisations where appropiate. We also have details of resources on eating disorders and self-help. Aside from information, a helpline call is primarily a space for the caller to explore their feelings. It is through their own exploration that individuals can find solutions to their own challenges.
